Bloods are quite rewarding snakes to have in a collection, excellent snakes at that. Bloods can definitely be moody. Although with regular handling they can calm down quite a bit.

Since you've been keeping Balls for a few years, I'm sure this is an awesome next step to take. Their care isn't very difficult as they like a lower temp for their hot spot, but do require a higher humidity level of around 65%-70%.\
