    Exclamation Finally!!!!!!!

Well the yellow-belly female that I rescued about a year ago maybe a little over went thorough mites, scale rot, not wanting to eat and finally going on a 10 month stretch without food. FINALLY ate a frozen thawed small rat for me today, I guess this is a great learning curve for me and tells me to share that patience and persistence as well as good husbandry can take a animal that may be heading the downward spiral to bouncing back. A lot of people dislike BP and don't get them from there eating habits but with patience and persists they will eat accordingly as well as good husbandry so what I can advise people is just relax and be patient.

    thanks all,

    Lance

It certainly is a great feeling when they start to bounce back! The Pin I got hadn't eaten for over ten months but now has not refused a single meal under my care, which is a fantastic feeling. And the two normals I have bounced back from near death under the care of their previous owners. BPs can be very rewarding to keep. As long as you can handle the occasional stubborn eater.
Congrats one your baby bouncing back from hard times.
