Monty boy and I spent some time in the rare sun today! It's around so little around here that we get kinda nutty in it

Sounds like a great future!!! Not sure why people are against you on this. Sounds like it would not only be fun but rewarding.

Ha! Same with my sister, I'm two years younger and she stayed at 5'3" too - while I kept going to 6'1"

I took an anthro class earlier this year, it's one of my favorite classes I've taken, and one of my favorite teachers as well. Paleoanthropology has crossed my mind a couple of times.
I'm going for an AA in sociology, and everyone at the day job (working on useless luxury yachts) keeps asking me the same thing - What do you expect to do with that? Well, the nonprofit sector actually pays better than this job, on average, and I'm about to finally send in my app for the Peace Corps as I should be graduating at this time next year. So I either join the Corps for a couple of years, or get a real career that's actually meaningful when I get out of college.
I'd go for a Bachelor's, which would help me out more, but at 35 I'm getting a little old in the tooth, lol - and I don't think I can take Florida for another 4 years, since I'd have to go half-time like I'm doing now.
Best of luck to you. Are you doing any teaching yet, or working as a T.A.?
