I live in Texas, so my views on gun carry are "if you're going to be responsible, go right ahead". I know people that hunt. I would love to go deer hunting in the future. I know how to shoot a 9mm and a shotgun (both from military training). I used to be proficient with a compound bow (I need to get back in practice).

But I will be the first to admit that not everyone should be allowed to handle a gun. Unfortunately, any gun laws just make it harder for law abiding citizens to own one, and criminals won't be affected (seriously, they aren't following the law anyways, why would more laws change that?).

And this thread should totally be renamed the 'rant about stupid people' thread.

Note: Yes, I am female. I never was very girly growing up. At all.
