The heat pad doesn't really need to be huge, just large enough for your snake to lay on. So the size of the heat pad will directly relate to the size of your snake. Most heat pads on the market today will reach similar temps. (some getting WAY too hot). Always use a thermostat...

It seems a little big.... but I guess it doesn't get too hot. :3 (Still getting a thermostat though to be 100% safe)

im assuming a 10-20 gal heat pad mighht just be to big, get the measurements if anything go with a 5 gal but see the sizes so that you can get things just right

It'll be fine with a 15q bin? Not too big?
And the bin size will be around 16.7"L x 13.3"W x 5.3"H

Well, there actually is a reptile expo in August, but I'm saving all my money until September. Afte september I can save for the snake and will buy what I need in pieces. I'll just have to confirm that I can get it before I start buying everything XD I want to be prepared though and know everything about the BPs that I can before I get one so I'll be prepared for anything it throws at me.

It's quite easy, actually.
I start with large superworms (2" and fat) and I bought bead boxes with individual little sections and drilled an airhole into the lid of each one. I put one superworm in every slot since they need to be separated to pupate. So after a couple weeks they turn into something that Superworm breeders call Aliens. The stage between the worm and the adult. After another week or so they turn into beetles from the aliens and you put the beetles in a container of their own and they breed and lay eggs, ect. And I throw the old beetle bedding with the nearly microscopic worms into a separate bin(You can see them when they are about as long as this dash: -- ) Then they grow into large worms again so I can feed them off. :3 I probably have a couple thousand worms that I grew myself and still have some leftover from the last batch I bought. It's easy, cheap(can get everything for under $50) and worth it, though it takes about 6 months to really get it going at a good pace. I started around..... January I think.
