Respiratory problems

So what do you look for to tell if your BP is having respiratory problems? What are the tell tale signs?

Wheezing, whistling noises, holding their head elevated for long periods of time, and mucous visible in the mouth or bubbling out of the nose or mouth are common signs of respiratory infections. I suggest typing "respiratory infection" into the search bar on this forum, there are many informative threads already in existence.

Bottom line If you see the signs of respiratory infection, and it is not related to being handled too soon after eating or drinking, get your reptile to a reptile vet now -delays will result in a weaker reptile, and depending on why the RTI was allowed to set in to begin with, may prolong recovery and stress.

When she plagiarizes, the info is as good as the source she cribbed it off of.

When she doesn't, it can be downright dangerous.

Every search turns her up, so it's hard to avoid her.

The was once a thread on another site where someone was keeping a good head count on all her mass of misinformation.

She is also an opponent of keeping exotics for pets.

It's hard Maixx because on the surface she looks like she knows something. Again we she replays an article by Mader or Wissman or Jacobsen it's fairly safe - but often her stuff is outdated and newer better info is available.

But when she puts on her propeller beanie and tries to write her own stuff, she can vary from laughable to dangerous.

Got it, I will stop using (Quoting, linking) her info. I have always tried to use it in support of getting someone to go to the vet, and not using it instead of going to the vet.
