Ball python in really bad shape
Hey everyone, my girls ball python is in a state of rapid shed. His belly is a burnt orange color and scales look like they are separating. I know it would be easier if a picture was attached but it's my girls snake. I just wanted to see if anyone is familiar with these symptoms.

Sounds like bad scale rot or a burn

what is she using for a hot spot?
Sometimes at shed the scales can get a little funky looking.

Yeah, pics are a must. We don't have much to go by right now.

Have her email you a pic, then upload it.

Yeah, you could just be describing a snake that's deep in shed, which is nothing to worry about... or you could be describing a very serious burn. We really can't tell without pics.
