Wow, nice setup! How many snakes are you feeding because that's a truckload of rodents! Thanks for sharing.

WOW! Great set-up! 20 years, man, that's awesome!
But, those water bottles are daunting... I can't imagine cleaning them out every week!

I finally, after years and years, have totally gone away from lab boxes. I still have about 20 of them that I haven't gotten into the newly built rack.
I bought a used mouse rack a year or so ago for $400, holds 35 pans. Then bought another a month later, don't know why it took me so long to do it, I'll never go back!
Finally got off my lazy butt and built one a month ago that holds 40 pans. So far, it's working great, no escapes. But, it wasn't cheap to build. the 3/3 wire is super expensive. But, no more water bottles!

Mice breeding
Thx for the comments fellow breeders just don't trust automatic watering with mice heard to many bad stores bottles get easier with time.

Re: My breeding of mice and rats
since i have actually helped clean that exact shed i can tell you it doesnt take as long as you would think. but deon pays another guy to come and clean it and pays him in rats...lol.
deon is the one who helped me get my setup up and running. i used the lab trays for about 6 months before i built my rack. now that i have my rack im building another to expand. so so nice. i breed rats though not mice. i agree that the automatic watering on mice racks can and will kill off a whole tub and possibly the one's below it. mice like to clog the valve with shavings and that can cause the sipper to continually run until the reservoir is out of water.

I wish I could find someone to do that.

Lol, me to! It looks like a very nice set up. I have most my mice in racks, but I still need to make one for the rats.
