Breedable females will sometimes lay in their water bowl while they are building follicles.

I sprayed him and his enclosure for mites with "mite off" after seeing tiny little bugs on him last week and haven't seen any since then he looks like he is going to shed soon is that why maybe he is eating and happy still just ate yesterday temps are perfect this is the first day. That he has sat in there for a long time and he has been in there literally all day. And I don't know if it is male or female but I don't think that if it is female it is ready to breed still a baby.

Keep him on white paper towels as his bedding for awhile and keep spraying him because the mite-off isn't very good to use if they already have mites. I only use that kind to spray on my snakes if I'm taking them outside in the grass as a preventative measure.

If they already have mites, it's best to treat the enclosure, not the snake, with provent-a-mite spray. This will kill eggs and everything to prevent them from coming back. The white paper towels will allow you to see them crawling if there are still any there or if any eggs were laid in the enclosure and hatch you will see them crawling.
