Where to put the hot glue

Where do you guys put glue on the probes inside the enclosure, like can I cover the whole probe with hot glu or you don't want to cover the front?

I personally cover right at the end of the line where the probe starts but not on the probe at all. I don't like the idea of it acting as an isolator.

Ok then I got to reedo mine then cuz I glued the whole thing and I have a feeling that it's not reading correctly

I just got a new tank for my female yesterday so aim setting it up and before I put her in ther I want to make sure my temps are good,

Well if the probe is covered in a coating of glue it will not be able to read the temps correctly.
