Look for some more ideas on a new addition :)

Hey everybody! Well I did my parents a 500$ favor so, I get to aquire a new reptile!

Rather than going the snake route, ive decided to get a small/medium lizard as a display animal

I am looking for something dinosaurish, and very colourful!

I was thinking Ameiva's, if I can find one to buy ill snatch it up no doubt. But im in Canada so im not sure on that, ill have to check.

I was also thinking Red Headed Agama...

I am also looking for a relatively cheap lizard, im not looking to spend a fortune lol!

A perfect size would be 10 - 17 inches long, and it has to be Diurnal

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! thanks!!!

with everything you've said, id go with a chameleon...

ameivas will need somewhere around a 40-55gallon tank when they are adults

they also like to bury themselves, so thatll take away from being a "display pet"
