Something like only 3 people have ever produced this species in captivity, and I don't think any have done it twice (though I may be wrong). Over at moreliapythons.com, Marc Spataro posted some pics of lock-ups back in March. I recall reading however that in April his female decided that it wanted to kill (maybe eat?) the male placed in her cage, biting the male's head and constricting, but luckily they were able to be separated. I think I read that the male is damaged but alive and should heal up, maybe with some scarring and some eye damage.
I have read that getting them to lock up is not the problem, but producing fertile clutches is, along with apparent incubation issues. I guess it's kinda hard to know what incubation parameters you need with so few captive clutches ever produced.
