Mites are easy to spot. just look for small black dots walking around on the snake and under the scales of the snake. that could be some other type of bug you are seeing and it may not be a bit deal HOWEVER if you have mites quarantine and as i said to the other post i just saw on the same topic...

i wouldnt just use pam. soak them in a tub of water with a few drops of soap as well everyday.
Newspaper and paper towels ftw as bedding, and clean the cage every 3days with windex. after that spray it down with the anti mite spray. then sprinkle tiny amounts of anti mite powder.

you must be super diligent in this and even if you think it is safe to stop treatment, keep doing it for another 2weeks at a minimum
