    i would never recommend putting the thermostat probe in a tub. Find the middle shelf on the rack and tape the probe on top of the heat tape. use a temp gun to adjust the thermostat as needed and always remember it takes time for the tubs to warm up to where you want them to so have the rack\tubs all set up for a few days before putting snakes in this way you can make all necessary adjustments before the snake is in.
