    Mites..... O.o

    Okay so I'm new to this site......but my lil boy Kaa has mites.......we've gotten rid of them but they just keep coming back I've given him half oil half water baths and been using Jurassi Mite on a regular basis but the things just keep coming back.....are there any other tips or tricks I can try????

    Get a can of prevent a mite. Only keep bare essentials in the tank and follow the directions for the P.A.M to a T. It will poison him of you dont follow the directions. Basically spray the bedding and the cage with snake and water dish OUT of the cage and as far away as possible. Allow to dry. Place snake and dish back in. Do this 1x a month. Keep up with the soaks.

    Order provent-a-mite online, when you get it.
    1. soak the snake in tepid water, with a couple drops of dawn liquid detergent.
    2. clean entire enclosure
    3. apply P-A-M according to instructions.

    Ths will irradicate the mites, and use monthly as a preventative
