weird bunps on the top of the tail near spine?

my dragon is having some issues eating and i just noticed today he has little bumps on the top of the very base of the tail..pretty much opposite side from the vent nearly between his legs.near the spine...they are perfect parallel bumps and it seems like bone to me not a cyst ..he is going through a shed right now as well..ill try to post pictures of the bumps..but they are hard to see because he is only around six inches long including the tail..i also just got a shallow enclosure for my dragons to go out into the yard and sunbath in.and i have upped my D3 calcium dusting..if anyone knows what this could be please give me all of your input..i am also going to the vet very soon so dont worry about that

You shouldn't be using calcium with D3.. Just get plain calcium powder. Also too much is no good either. The extra D3 causes huge problems. Do you have the proper enclosure with the correct UVA/UVB bulb with a basking spot of 100/110 for the little guy? A thermometer with a probe is important for measuring this initially. Babies need a lot of TLC at this age. As many proper sized crickets as they can eat in 10-15 minutes twice a day, and a finely chopped salad of greens offered before the crickets in the morning and then left for him to munch on.

Plus his baths are important. I don't know what to say about the bumps if all else is correct. Do try to get some clear and close up photos of it and maybe someone can tell you something more about it.
