Funny enough, my BP will kill the mouse without issue, but when it comes to actually eating it, he will wait until I have the camera out and am videotaping him ( I have videoed him eating since day 1). I found this out a couple weeks ago because I was in a rush to get him fed before work and dropped the mouse in, he struck and killed it right away, then he just looked up at me and started moving around over the mouse flicking his tongue, occasionally raising his head up out of the bin to look at me. So I though I would just leave him with it, came back and checked on him after getting dressed for work, still nothing. So I though I would document him not eating the mouse and try to figure why later on (which he has never done before) but as soon as I took the camera out, pointed it at him and started taping, he immediately turned the mouse and started eating it. I think I have an exhibitionist eater. He is not shy about it at all, a couple of my buddies usually come over and watch him eat each week as well and there has never been an issue. Sorry for the long post, I just though it was an interesting little story to share.
