I want LIZARD !!! Need Advice :P

Girls and Boys this is a deal... I want Lizard... I'd love to do with Ackie or Timor Monitor but unfortunatelly all monitors and tegus are banned in NYC

I'm Not to big gecko fan.. Don't really like thing about breaded dragon because of cost of feeding and because i cant stand crickets !!!

I dont want tiny lizard as well... not looking in to Chameleon or Blue Tong Skink as well

So what other species i could consider .. looking something what dont ruin my wallet and be carnivorous as well and can live in 40 gallon Breeder tank all his life..

Seriously. You've pretty much ruled out all your options. Beardies are great, but they do eat crickets, and so does every other species of approximately that size which is legal in NYC. Sorry, I feel your pain. Lucky for me I moved to Massachusetts.

I'm not a big lizard person, but I did a little research on Chinese Water Dragons. They're not quite as big as an iguana, and need quite a bit of water, but the one I met at a friend's house was pretty personable

Yes i want dont get me wrong... Breaded Dragons are awesome... but i dont really know that i cant stand crickets.. with Chameleons space is an issue I live in Tiny apartment... leo geckos are to tiny..

Was thinking about Crestie for a while...especially that i heard You can keep them on canned food...

There is really nothing size of dragon what is not that expansive in keeping and dont require cricket diet ???

Edit; Was looking in to a Cayman Lizard but know nothing about them ... Any of You guys have any experience with That Specie ??
