    Question Hog Feed Expiration Date?

So my starter trios of ASFs are coming tomorrow and I've got everything set up for them. However, I couldnt find an expiration date on the hog feed I purchased for them. It's a 50lb bad of Nutrena PorkTrack 16%. For the life of me I CAN NOT find the expiration date. How do I know when the stuff is no good to feed anymore? I can't imagine the ASFs will be going through this 50lb bag any time soon and I certainly dont want to feed them spoiled food. I am trying to contact the company as well. Thanks!

Trust me, when that trio starts producing, you'll be surprised how fast that bag will go. I was going thru 50# every month.

I wouldn't worry about the expiration date anyways, you can feed it for months after it expires. The only thing you have to be careful of is bugs and mold.

Some of us mouse people will go to pet stores and get their expired dog food for free and feed it, never had any problems from that.
