I see nothing problematic from your choices. The orchid looks great. The cork background stuff I'd make sure it is removable so you can toss it in some water and scrub it down.
I use some general guidelines when buying decor.
No enclosed passages un less very very small or very large.
(snakes after a meal can get stuck in odd things and might hurt themselves trying to get free.)
Will a cleaning brush reach all the nooks and crannies.
Does the dyes or paint come off.
Does it smell. (if you can smell plastic or resin smells it might clear or it might not)
Will it fall and hurt my snake.
(some things cast resin stuff especially is quite heavy and every now and again something will be unstable and could topple over)
If it becomes unsuitable or takes up too much room will I be upset at leaving it aside?
(I have bought things that were expensive and really wanted to use it even when it was't working out well, easier to avoid the temptation.)
Is there any spot (bottom too if might fall over) on the object that is sharp? (try the blind finger test. if you hesitate don't buy it or plan on sanding the sharp bits)
This is my list I ask myself before I buy anything. I hope this helps.

Re: thinking about decor options
the castle ornament, i failed to mention, has empty cavities inside that i planned on filling in completely with dry foam (the kind put into containers with silk floral arrangements) so that my snake could not get herself stuck in it trying to use it as a hide or explore it.
as for the points on the castle, i really dont see any but if i discover any upon purchasing it i will definitely try to dull them down somehow.
i planned on "anchoring" the ornaments to the bottom of the terrarium with industrial strength velcro. the orchid will bend over if the snake tries to crawl on it but thats ok right? the base will be anchored. i'm currently using it now to mount the accurite to the back glass as seen in my 1st pic and my snake has cruised over the top of it with her entire body & it held up. matter of fact i have to pull quite hard to detach the accurite from its station on the glass, that's how strong the velcro is. it's very hard to separate & i wanted it that way.
the other plants (pics shown) will be more of a challenge cuz i'll have to attach them to the cork tiles, or at least i wanted to, but i dont wanna use any kind of glue or tape. i was again thinking of the velcro but am unsure of how well they would stick to the obviously uneven surface of the cork tiles. maybe i can sand the spots down a little where i wanted to stick the velcro coins.
i've got time to figure this all out & like running the ideas through here to see what ya'll think.

I just posted as general things I ask when buying. I don't see any problems with what you posted. I cange mine frequently anyway so I mix and match. The snakes seem to enjoy new things they poke and explore them for days. Personally I'd use hot mlt glue as it is easy to pull off but strong enough to hold up to the snakes (mostly) but would never cause any problems velcro might become unattached and stick (the glue part not the velcro part ) to the snake. You could hot melt velcro now I am thinking on it. That would still keep sticky tape out of the enclosure.

Why not pick up some plants from the craft store? You can put them on either side of the cage, and if you get big ones they take up a lot of tall space, so you wouldn't even need to worry about attaching them to the cork bark. You can also try to drill a small hole into the cork bark, that way you might be able to hang the plants you picked out.
