Headshot of my V. salvator - water monitor.

Walked into herp shop a couple months back to find this guy crammed into a very small display cage. Very low heating, no substrate, and nowhere to hide. He was ping-ponging off the sides of the enclosure and was skinny and dehydrated. Apparently someone had brought him in and sold him/traded him to the store and he's bounced around locations looking for a buyer. He's missing toes/tip of his tail so I'm not 100% sure of his length. Comparing to my other monitors however- he'd probably be somewhere between 4 and 5 foot if he had a full tail.

He's very shy, but he came out and basked and I pulled a head shot.
