Ball Pink Belly
I have had my Spider Ball for about 3 weeks now and he is eating great! When I pulled him out to feed last night I noticed his belly was pink. Now I know when they go into preshed their bellies turn pink but when I got him I was told he had just shed and he took the feeder rat right away. From my experience with my first Ball I noticed that he did shed quite often, maybe once every month or so. Is it like that with all balls or most?

Depends on how well of an eater they are and how quick they grow. I have one that sheds consistently every 1- 1 1/2 months. He's also my garbage disposal

It all depends on how quickly he's growing!

Re: Ball Pink Belly
He is about 3 and a half feet long and 2 years old, so he's still growing? From what his previous owner told me he is a great eater so that might be why he still took the rat even while going into shed. It makes sense... My Corn Snake would eat every day if I let him and would even eat while shedding. Lol! Silly little guys... I don't know why I got so worried since I knew what was going on, I guess I just wanted some opinions. Thanks guys!
