i lowered the thermostat and it didn't do much. i turned it down all the way to 30 and the thermometer was still reading at about 100 or 101 degrees. i actually just unplugged it now and turned the lamp on until the glass itself cools. the thermostat probe is right next to the thermometer probe under the substrate on the glass. the thermostat does not show temperature. the thermostat is a zilla thermostat, the heating pad is a small zoomed. with the lamp on the temps are going down, as is the humidity. humidity got down to 40% so i misted the enclosure through the screen top and it went up to 54%. he is calmed down now, resting on the little climbing branch i have in there. when i first put the lamp on he kept sticking his head up to it and smelling it with his tongue.
