Baby ball at a local pet store. We removed its bad shed (still a piece left in the pic). Poor thing was covered in mites, emaciated, an obvious back injury and an infected eye. After we peeled off the bad shed we alerted the owner to the snakes problems. When we told her about its eye she starts scraping its eye with her dirty fingernails! What the...???

How can anyone see this as acceptable? If she didn't know we had the ball out I would have loaded my pockets with whatever animals I could fit in there!
