Ohhhhhh ok because I just read through 2 complete threads and in one of them (I'd have to go back through to find it) there were more than a few people who said there is no markers or way to tell of a Woma has the hidden gene. But what you're saying is they are 2 different snakes....like a Butter and a Lesser? Look similar but are 2 totally different morphs? Yeah, they really need to change the name then because it sounds like some Womas may carry a gene that other's dont....rather than just coming out and saying they are 2 totally different morphs.
Now looking at the pics on the morph list:
Woma

Hidden Gene
http://www.worldofballpythons.com/mo...den-gene-woma/
They look nothing alike....Woma has the same head pattern as a spider, just without any white on the sides and the Hidden Gene has a solid head with the high white. GOT IT!
I was under the impression after reading all those posts that it the "hidden gene" was almost like a het....where the snake might carry the gene, but you don't know unless you prove it out. So yes I agree NERD should have just called it Hidden Gene Morph and leave the word Woma out of it. Because yea, that was super confusing!
So I still could go with a Butter or the Bee (or heck, both!) and still come out with some cool hatchlings! Thank you!!
