I don't have any suggestions for you (except you may want to increase your 88 degree hot side to 90-91)....but I have a female pastel who has been doing this as well over the last week. I am baffled because she is in a 32Qt tub and she is trying to GET OUT. She is out of her hide 24/7 trying to poke her nose out of the top of the tub and I cannot figure out why. She's not hungry, she won't eat, her temps are 90-92 on the hot side and 80-82 on the cold side. She has a hide, etc just like yours but she is acting like she's trying to do a prison break. If I pull out the tub an inch, she is coming out and leaving! lol
