I have a boaphile rack (but no cages) and love it.

Customer service via telephone the two times I called was perfect.

Lead time was estimated @ 4-5 weeks. It arrived 4 1/2 weeks after I placed my order. I don't consider 4-5 weeks long at all as I avoid impulse purchases, but every herpetoculturist I deal with has been more than willing to hold on to an animal for a little while (once they have cash in hand) so I can get housing in order.

I'm planning on purchasing two stacks of cages from them once I have the funds for it.

I have severel of the Rhino Rhax racks from Boaphile and they are great. Very, very sturdy and well put together. Don't email him call him on the phone for fast response.

Make sure to get the black hinges, radiant heat panel, and the Ranco thermostat - you will really like it. It's light, sturdy, attractive, stackable, reasonably priced, and holds temps/humidity rock steady. If you want to spoil a pet snake, this is the way to do it.

How does the RHP work? I'm still in the research phase, and my original plan was to go with a tank and two UTHs and T-stats to totally regulate both warm and cool sides accurately. I assume only one RHP is used, so how do you regulate both sides of these cages?

I do like the look of these cages, and tanks, while relatively inexpensive, aren't necessarily so nice looking once modified to control humidity.

Wanted to know if anyone had bought from this website before, as I am looking to get a new enclosure for my BP. She is currently in a crappy glass 29 gallon and she is a little over 3 feet.

I have boaphile plastics 421d cages for my adult boas(expecting delievery on a new one any day now) and i just got my Rhinoraxx Ball room racks for adult female balls and picking up two 5 tub sweater box racks for my males n juvie females boas and balls...his product is EXCELLENT...They r great cages and racks and Mr Jeff ronne is a pleasure to deal with!!

The radiant heat panel is fantastic - you just plug it into your thermostat the same as a UTH. Jeff hangs them on the roof of the cage with a very slick attachment mechanism so there are no cords or holes inside the cage. It feels like warm pavement in the summertime when you touch it.

Unless your room is in the 60-70 degree range, that should be the only heater you need to heat the whole cage. If you are in a super cold environment, you can also get a UTH from Jeff to boost ambient temps.

I got the 4x2 cages with the under tank heat he offers in the double size. It covers half the bottom and keeps the hot side perfect while keeping the ambient temp at 80. Controlled by a Ranco therm.
