I am a person who can not NOT touch my new snakes for a whole week... I leave them alone for a day and depending on the snake, I will go ahead and "play" with them for a few minutes as I please. My snakes have never shown signs of stress and my newest addition took a rat the day after I brought him home.If he seems like he is comfortable, I see no harm in taking him out for a bit.
Would him leaving his hide, and actively exploring his tank be a sign of comfort? Because as soon as i put him in it, he did a first quick inspection, then hid for a while, and since then as come out and even done a couple "laps" of the tank, investigating everything. even with me and my family there watching him.
