King pooing and peeing when handled

My new baby albino kingsnake hsa taken to pooing and peeing on me whenever she is handled, is there any way to break this behavior or is this just something that I will have to deal with until she is older?

One of my kings does the same. It goes with the territory when kings are involved. Don't be surprised if it bites and hangs on, either Most do grow out of it, though...

Keep handling and it will out grow it. It's the only drawback to them

If you just got her and she has not had time to unwind from the move or the stress of being in a new habitat, I would suggest that your first step would be to not handle her for at least a week or two. This will give her time to acclimate to the new enclosure. If you have already done this or after you do this. You may try to handle her again. Generally it will be a matter of time until she becomes handleable (Remember not all snakes can be tamed). Kingsnakes usually do this for a while though and then settle down.

One thing to remember, pick her up from underneath her body, not from above. Natural predators would attack from above, so you want to avoid this approach when picking up your snake.

Sorry if you already knew all of this and I am just restating what you already know.

I think the waiting period is a waste of time. Hold her everyday and eventually she'll calm down. Of course I've only had a few thousand so .....

Patience will calm her, just don't let her condition you. From the top, from below, from the side, handle her from all directions to condition her to your ways. You won't stress a calking from that provided it's healthy.

That's normal from King snakes. I have 2 and they both have done it to me. Handle them and they will stop, they just think your going to eat them. They'll get used to you.

Ok, the only other cal king that we had was a 2 year old male so he had likely outgrown it, thanks guys. I figured it was just a "oh god don't eat me............... TAKE THAT HAHAHA" kind of response but I wanted to be sure

Your baby is musking you it's annoying but something you will have to deal with for a while the good news is that they grow out of it, it takes patience and regular handling.

Well she is also actually defecating too, so I assumed that it was urine and not musk. Plus it doesn't stink it's just not fun
