That's actually exactly what I tried last year, a YB Granite male. Out of 5 eggs, 4 died what looked like around halfway through incubation. The last one made it full term, came halfway out of the egg, and died. I don't know if there was possibly a "fatal gene combo" thing going on with the double Granite pairing, or if it was due to me using Miracle-Gro perlite (has fertilizer added, that I completely overlooked) last year for an incubation medium. I don't have any pics of her belly, and honestly haven't looked at it in so long, I can't even describe it from memory...I'll have to do that.
Here's the one that made it full-term. Obviously something happening there. Really sucks it didn't make it. Planning on breeding her to a Chocolate Pin next time around.
