2 snake issues are not very well treated at home only and those are scale rot & burns. with the exception of minor in the early stages cases but i think even then it would still be good practice to just go to the vet.
did you check your temps to make sure it s not a burn?
if its rot that means the snake was sitting in/on wetness for too long. so the 1st thing you'd wanna do (from what i'm seeing everyone say before in other threads) is put the snake on paper towel substrate for awhile but change out the paper towels as soon as its soiled/wet.
thats as far as my knowledge goes.
i'm sure someone else will chime in.
