Officially a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada.

I have not been on here in a little while because the move has been so crazy, but now that I am settled into the new house in Vegas I thought I'd pop back in here and say hello to my fellow Vegas herpers.
I arrived 4AM Friday and spent the last couple days moving in, getting the snakes situated, setting up the stalls and misters for the donkeys and horses, and straightening up the house. Then, with my luck, tonight we had a thunderstorm that knocked out the power for a few hours. Very nice welcoming from the city!

So, hello again to everyone! It's nice to be back to the addiction.

    Welcome back!

Lucky! We got married at the Stained Glass Chapel in Vegas. 6 days, 4 star hotel, no family for thousands of miles. Oh yeah! Hopefully we'll get to go back one day. Such a fun place! Couldn't live there, though. Too freakin' hot! We went in February and it was like our summers back home in Alaska.

"Hot" is an understatement. It's an oven here during the summer months. It's been up in the 110 area the past couple days and even reached 116 while we were unloading the U-Haul. Great weather to move in. I'm surviving with ice water and air conditioning!

    Yeah, enjoy that...

Hot to me is anything over 60 degrees. I am content in shorts at 35 degrees. Air conditioning barely touches the 85-90 degrees we have here. At least its dry down there. It ain't so much the heat as it is the humidity. I'm still jealous. Such a neat place to live!

Thank you! Sorry for the late reply.. It's been a busy couple weeks! The horses and miniature donkeys came with us. Though, I sold two of the donkeys before moving. We were able to get medical clearance from our vet to allow us to transport all of them since that equine virus was still going around.
