    Fellow Houstonians!

i got my first ball python about two weeks ago. i have tried feeding him F/T pinkies but he has refused both times. he is about 3 months old. the person i bought it from said he eats live pinkie rats.

does anyone from Houston happen to know where i can get some live food for my snake? petsmart and petco do not carry them.

first use rats you don't want your bp to be a mouse eater, second google pet stores in your area and call the ones that aren't big chain pet stores. Once you find like the mom and pop pet store they should be able to provide what you need and at a cheaper price. also there are many feeding tips online i suggest taking the time to google feeding tips and read up on them. hope this helps and goodluck

There are a few shops in houston that sell them. i don't go to them cuz one of them their rats had mites and stuff but that was a long time ago and I use f/t now. You could try to convert your bp to f/t its way easier IMO. Its just a little hard to get them to switch but its way better in the long run.
