So disappointing...
So out of 5 adult females bred I got one clutch of 8 eggs. 4 were slugs, 2 out of those 4 were fertile and only one made it to term. Still waiting on the other to lay.
So not to happy to say the least. However this has prompted me to get more females. I have since picked up 4 breeder females and will be picking up 6 more later this week.
Im not gonna be stuck with nothing again next year

Don't be discouraged. I know it's disappointing but be glad you even have one that seems to be making it. You can name him/her lucky  Good luck with the new females.

Dont get me wrong im extatic abotu that, its just you build up so much anticipation all season waiting and then its a flop.. Guess I can just look forward to next season. At least ill have more to work with and my prize pastel will be ready
