    Morph possibilities

    Howdy! I'm still learning how to determine the possibility% that can come out of a morph pairing. I've got single morph and double morph combos down, but here's where i start getting all messy with the punnet's square:

    How do you calculate the possibility% when the pair are both double or triple morphs? And what if a Super morph is one of the pair (versus no super form).

    For eg: 1.0 Killer Bee x 0.1 Lemon Blast (super form in terms of Killer Bee)

    and : 1.0 Spinner blast x 0.1 Bumble Bee (no super form present)

    Re: Morph possibilities

    Hi,

    I like this one - it does the alleles correctly and everything plus you can copy and paste the results straight into your posts on here as a punnet square.

    Re: Morph possibilities

    Online calcs are no doubt much easier but to show you how i do it, you list every possible combo of genes each parent can give, for every locus.

    Im going to say
    P = Pastel
    S = Spider
    X = Pin
    Uppercase letters = morph gene
    Lowercase letters = normal gene

    1.0 Killer Bee (PPSsxx)
    0.1 Lemon Blast(PpssXx)

    1.0 Spinner blast (PpSsXx)
    0.1 Bumble Bee (PpSsxx)
    you can fill that one in on your own lol, much easier just to have the calc spit this out...

    @ LGray23 & dr del: thanks, that's a couple of handy tools to have =D

    @ OhhWatALoser: thanks for the quick and precise lesson in prepping a table for multiple morph pairings. i have a clearer idea of how to do it properly now =D
