    I need some help please

I can't figure out how to set my heat lamp and my water dish. Now my uth it's on the left of the tank with a hide on top. Next to it I have another hide. On the other side I have a big water dish with a branch in it for them to climb on it and on top of the screen on the water dish I have a red 75w bulb. Is this right. Please help.

    Hi,

It depends a lot on what your temp and humidity readings at the different parts of the tank are.

Generally I would have the lamp either on the warm end above the UTH or in the middle to raise the ambients to 80f in the cool end hide and have the thermostat on the UTH keep the warm end ( inside the hide ) at 92f

I would also move your second hide to the cool side so the snake can choose from the whole temp range and use a smaller waterbowl if need be or place it in the middle.

Once you know where you need the lamp to be to get your temps straight go find the screen top tinfoil treatment thread to help fix your humidity.
