Thanks!
She doesn't seem very flighty at all. When we brought her home this past Saturday she stayed in her burrow. We fed her a few crickets and knew she ate them because she deposited the cricket ball into her water dish. So we knew she was alive. Sunday we decided to "coax" her out of her burrow to get proof of life and snap off a few shots. Well, we got her out and she came out fine then we got those shots of her. I then found out how lightning fast she is, lol. But she seems very sweet. Loves her burrow.

Still learning what I can about T's.. what does flighty mean if you don't mind explaining? As in really fast or somethin?
I know I know.. I guess I have got to ask sometime.
Regardless, pretty cool looking spider! My fears are getting better the more I see pics of the really pretty ones.

My fears got better and went away the more I was around them and learned about them.
The P. Irminia will do one of two things, they'll either run from you (flighty) or turn and rear up on you. They are very fast and can tag you multiple times. They are aboreal T's, much like the Avicularia Metallica and the Avicularia Versicolor. They need around 70-80% humidity and some height to their enclosure, even though mine loves to burrow for some reason, lol.

By flighty it basically means they spook easy, and they're very apt to bolting in any direction they may be aimed when they feel threatened, or if push comes to shove, perhaps a defensive bite (though they tend to prefer not to). They just tend to be really nervous and high-strung.

100% confirmed female. I was told she was bread once and produced a good sling. I trust the guy from Scales and Tails, Kyle, whom I also bought our female GBB from.

I will. Right now I'm trying to convince the wife to let me get a male sometime down the road, lol. I hear they are easy to breed. But then again, maybe not.
