    Re: New Toy Hopefully!!

That is a beautiful paint job and an amazing gun if u buy it please bring it to AZ and we will go gun crazy haha im not even 21 and i have 3 hand guns picked out to purchase haha but 50-100 rounds through that thing in one sitting and u wont have a shoulder!

as far as the paint goes if it is a Acrylic Enamel without Catalyst the heat will only make the paint harden more as it gets hotter. Acrylic Enamel without Catalyst is recommended for painting engine blocks and engine bays due to its ability to stand up to heat

But what about the shock and recoil going through that thing. Can the paint crack?

Supposedly the new Bushmasters have been redesigned to have less recoil.

Yup. I always spend at least as much on a scope as I do the gun. I'm a fan of Bushnell Elite 4200 scopes. Excellent bang for the buck and they have a great glass. Crystal clear! When I can afford them I've had good luck with Swarovski as well. My dad on the other hand will spend over a grand on a really nice Sako or Weatherby and throw a cheap Simmons or Tasco on it. He wonders why he goes through so many scopes and has trouble focusing.

I can't help but think of the amount of money they just moved through that (or time doing their own loads). Its a monster!

My dad just picked up one of the Swarovski. Not sure which one. He has big plans his next couple days off for it

Most for my guns are for hunting. Not too much in the line of making craters but nicer than the average collection.

If i do end up able to buy this I may chance the scope if i decide to shoot it. If not im not going to put 5k into a scope for a display piece

    Re: New Toy Hopefully!!

i dont believe there would be an issue with the paint cracking as long as its taken care of its just like ur car except this is much more dangerous and BA but that dissasembly of the AA12 makes me want to do some airbrush work or something on the plastic pieces i didnt realize they just slip off like that i want one now idk wat id use it for since my home defense gun would be a Mossberg 500 20 Pistol Grip! cant wait to get one!
