    First Clutch need help!

Ok here's the deal, my albino laid 5 huge eggs and I could not peel the clutch apart to make room in the squamata sim. I was able to get the clutch to fit but the top two eggs have no vermiculite around them, is that ok? And second problem is that the top two eggs swelled up a little and now barely touching the lid. Do I let it go? Do I get a new egg box all together and make a quick swap? Do I open the egg box and make more room. And are the two eggs on top going to be ok? Thanks for the help.

are the two eggs at the top going to be ok?- yes they will be absolutely fine. I have a clutch of 7 that was laid in one big bundle. I'm using the light defuser method and not a single egg is touching the substrate. as long as you have proper humidity all the eggs will be okay in that aspect.

the two touching the top could pose a potential problem if water can easily drop onto them. if you are able to get a new incubator I would.

    congratz on your eggs

Mine are not all touching the vermiculite either. All are doing great. Yours should be fine. Congrats!
