    Its possible she ovulated and you missed the main event. However if you palpated after an ovulation you would feel the developing eggs. They would feel like big marshmallows basically. It's harder to feel eggs compared to follicles and you have to be gentler when palpating post-ovy. She may have resorbed the follicles also.

    Do you know when her last shed was? I would also suggest preparing for eggs anyway. You don't want to be caught unprepared if she does lay for you.
