Hey im new to the forum i just purchased my first pastel bp yesterday. i have his tank all set up with 2 hides as well as a basking spot. i have him in a 40 gallon breeder tank my question is that to large of a tank to be housed in concidering he is only 12-18 inchs long. i also have a large water dish in with him. he has a UTH as well in the warm end of the tank and the sides i have covered with black contact paper. however even with the two hides in the tank he is curling up under his water bowl. the last time according to the breeder at my local show that he ate was friday. he said i should feed him again between wensday and thursday is this correct. I am also concerned with the large tank stressing him out. any insight on this as well as i didnt intend on hodling him till next sunday due to the stress level he is under. would this be concidered proper care? any help would be much appreciated
