Re: Burgundy Project
So thought I would update. Out of the 4 eggs incubating the 2 that were infertile have gone bad..
So now im left with two lonely eggs. I am super excited though as they are expected to hatch 6/27.
Stay tuned for disappointing results lol.

Re: Burgundy Project
So yet another update...
Checked on the eggs today and only one is still white. The other of the two good ones is a reddish brown and starting to mold. With only a couple days left till hatch I have my fingers crossed. We shall see

Burgundy Project Hatched!
Ok so the long awaited results are in and well I guess I cant be disappointed as I knew it was coming. Looks like the second egg went bad. It was wicked, I cut it open just to check. The egg sac was solid and you could see a pink squiggly thing. You could see an eye and where the mouth formed but that was about it. It was a little sad.
On the upside looks like I have a healthy PH burgundy.
Not sure of sex yet but right now just to salvage the situation I'm praying for a male so I can at least breed him back to mom to try and prove out the burgundy. If it turns out to be a female well guess im back to square one next season...
Pictures to come.

That's because most of them never proved genetic...I picked up a big WC group in 2003 and they never proved.

World of ball python's doesn't even have anything. They have it listed but no picture or who it was proved by. I know RDR is doing some work but I wish they would show us! I have yet to hear anything about them being proved out but I have seen pictures so I know its gotta be possible.

Final Outcome on Burgundy Project
So the one good snake that hatched has died. Looks like he was underdeveloped. Not sure whats going on but a long wait for nothing... Hopeful for next year.
