If you own an animal, it's your responsibility to provide to the best of your ability, the best care possible for said animal. Risk of impaction is minimal: It's still a risk, and if your snake will tolerate being moved to eat, I applaud that. I personally don't move my snakes to eat at all, simply because I don't feel that the benefits outweigh throwing my snakes off food. But I will never chide someone for doing something that could potentially benefit their animal!

I never move my snakes out..... I use aspen and if i had to move 50+ snakes out of there tub at feeding time i would never be done...
