Bass is awesome (but I'm biased lol, bass is my instrument). Its different from playing guitar though, it's like a whole different animal. It's like each instrument is a part of anatomy of music. Drums are the backbone that give it a structure, guitar is like the muscles that make it move a certain way, but bass is the spinal cord that is vital to coordinating everything. Sorry lol, music philosophy got me carried away
