    Do I need to worry?

    Hi,

I have a question about the period between pre lay shed and actual laying.

Last year our pastel female laid eggs on day 42 (after PLS).
This season we have 3 pregnant females.
The first one to lay is the bumblebee, but it's already day 42 today!!
    Do I need to worry?
    Or do I just wait?

    What's your longest period?

    Thnx
    Katrien

You can't always count on the prelay shed timeline. Whe did she ovulate?

I wouldn't worry. She'll lay when she's ready to lay. I've learned that if you stick to time tables, you'll only drive yourself crazy so nowadays I just use all of the "X days until ___" as a general point of reference.

This year my girl laid on day 42 or 43, I can't remember right now. Last year she laid on day 53.

Don't stress about it or try to hurry her along. Just let her do her thing and she'll lay them eventually!

Re: Do I need to worry?

@ Ilovelace: She ovulated on April 10th and had her PLS on May 8th. So that went according schedule

@ Quiet Tempest: You're absolutely right. Last year, we missed every indication (ovulation, PLS,...) with the pastel female. And I didn't worry at all that year. Instead, there were some nice 'surprise' eggs
So, note to myself: Next year, don't look at time tables

@ SlitherinSisters: You give me hope !! No worries at all.... ! I don't push it in any way.

Who knows... maybe our other 2 women are faster
    We'll see...
But anyway, I'm less worried!! Thanx!!
