Yes there is, it's called power feeding. A prey item 10-15% of your snakes body weight once a week is sufficient. Power feeding can & will cause you animal to have health/breeding issues/problems.

A solution to this would be to feed the female first, if she refuses give it to the male. No waste, no overeating . Some snakes are just garbage disposals, I know I've got a couple.
