Thanks for the complimentsI should have weighed him before I fed him. Tegus store fat in their tails and his has little if any. You can see and feel just about every bone in his body from his neck to half of his tail. I tried to get pics from different angles,.. with, with out flash and natural sunlight. Some show it better than others. But then again his colors and pattern don't help much either.
I didn't say he was emaciated but by tegu standards,.. he is, not at the highest level but still emaciated. I just said he's under weight and needed help which he does. The owner agreed and explained why he's in this condition.
Not saying that he's to far gone or can't come back from it,.. I know he can. If I felt he was too far gone I would have suggested Euthanasia instead of taking him in.He just needs help to do so.
