Not Pooping....

Hey, Slytherin hasn't pooped or peed in two weeks.... He's going into shed right now, his eyes got all cloudy. Is this normal (The no pooping thing, I know the cloudy eyes are normal)? I'm really worried about him.... He doesn't seem to have any hard lumps, I checked. Please Please Please Please help!!!!!!

Perfectly normal. Sometimes they will go as long as a month (or even longer) between defecations. They go when the need to.

Whew!! I was really worried!! Slytherin is my baby and I would hate for anything bad to happen to him. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!! This is his first shed in my care so I'm kinda anxious.

If he is going into shed, you might want to raise the humidity a little. That always helps.

mine like to shed and poop all together.... Jezebel did exactly that for me this morning

Perfectly normal.

It's surprising how long they can put it off. My blood python seems to wait 4-6 months.

Yup perfectly normal. The time to be concerned is when you gently feel along the body of the snake and feel gassy bloated airy feeling bits (it is really really obvious) or worse hard bulges. Both are easy to see you you will instantly think 'that isn't right.' Not to worry being cautious is a good thing.
