Given the snake's current size (disregarding age, since size matters more than age when it comes to meal size), I think really full grown adult mice might still cut it. I do doubt his snakes over 300g at that length, and if that is so, a full grown mouse which is about 25-30g (or those crazy jumbo mice you can buy frozen from most suppliers which hit 35+) weekly is enough really. More than enough. At 250g my ball was rejecting anything over 20g all the way up to 350. He reached that in a couple of months plus? Slightly slow due to light intake but still growing substantially. I was worried about this, Dr. Del told me it should be fine, he is afterall getting more than he would in the wild. And his growth proved that.

But yes I would change to rats ASAP, since its a pain to change a ball python's diet once its any older. And feeding multiple mice weekly is too. Of course doing that isn't detrimental, there are many mousers around here too, but you get the idea. And get a scale it really helps with so many things.
