Does that mean it doesn't go away when he sheds?

I have an old cornsnake that seems to have cateracts in both eyes but have also had a young BP that looked to have the same that turned out to be scuffmarks from her movements against the inside of the unglazed terracotta hide I was using at the time.
In her case they dissapeared when she shed but returned a couple of days later.
